Researchers needed for 2019 TLRI selection panel

NZCER and the TLRI Advisory Board invite applications from researchers interested in being on the six-member external selection panel that will assess Full Proposals in the 2019 funding round.

The TLRI funds research addressing themes of strategic importance to education in New Zealand that will lead to an improvement in outcomes for learners. The $1.5 million fund is allocated annually to projects at all levels of education from early childhood to tertiary. The New Zealand Council for Educational Research (NZCER) coordinates the fund on behalf of the Ministry of Education.

The funding is allocated using a two-stage process. Applicants submit an Expression of Interest at Stage 1. A shortlist of applicants is then invited to submit a Full Proposal at Stage 2. The external selection panel assesses the Full Proposals in September.
