Spotlight on school sector TLRI Research

Over the past two years the TLRI advisory board has commissioned a series of reviews looking at the contribution of the TLRI to knowledge building about teaching and learning. Previous reviews have looked at research in the early years and in the tertiary sector.

In 2012 Mary Hill from the University of Auckland and Bronwen Cowie from the University of Waikato carried out a review of the TLRI projects in the schools sector. This is their paper. A symposium was held in November to discuss it and a summary from that day will be posted shortly.  Two brief papers were  written in response to the review from Rose Hipkins (NZCER) and Susan Sandretto, (University of Otago) and were also presented at the symposium.
